Count Website Pages from a Sitemap
This website page counter reads XML sitemaps and sitemap indexes to find the URLs a site is asking search engines to crawl. It is useful for SEO audits, migration checks, content inventory work, and competitor research.
How to use it
Enter a homepage URL or a direct sitemap URL, then click Count Pages. The scanner checks common sitemap locations, follows sitemap indexes, counts unique page URLs, shows modified Yes or No status, and lists every sitemap file scanned.
What the results mean
Pages are the unique URLs found in the sitemap files. Modified URLs are pages that include a lastmod date, grouped by year and month so you can quickly review recent publishing or update activity. Export the full audit as CSV files or one ZIP package for sharing.
